We work with a PhD Agronomist, several PCAs and farm managers to manage a crop from the ground up, considering the impact that irrigation, nutrition and farm cultural practices have in maximizing yield cost effectively.

You’d think it would be pretty simple, N-P-K plus micronutrients, to make sure that your crop has all the ‘groceries’ it needs, i.e. replace what you remove plus add a bit more to get the yield you want next year.

However, many of today’s farm managers are outsourcing their crops’ nutrition to third party vendors who sell them and apply proprietary blends of fertilizers with healthy mark-ups rather than the raw more cost effective commodities. Great business plan for those vendors, but the grower ends up being able to afford fewer of the key nutrients which make for an above average yield at a cost effective price.

Call us old fashion, but we always thought crop nutrition and fertilization was the farm manager’s job. We are interested in developing long term relationships with orchard and vineyard owners who wish to maximize their returns.

We are happy to develop orchards and vineyards as we have the in past but our sweet spot is growing the crop year in and year out and generating the yields which will get you an above average return.
