John Diener
President
Our founder and President/CEO John Diener grew up in Five Points, CA on a ranch where his Dad was Ranch Superintendent for his Uncle. Growing up, he wasn't sure what he wanted to become — torn between priesthood and farming. After spending 6 years in seminary to become a priest, John decided to farm instead. John attended U.C. Davis where he graduated with a degree in Ag Science and Business Management in 1974. After school, he worked as a Pest Control Advisor for Wilbur Ellis covering Tulare County and in 1980, he leased property in Five Points and began farming. Since then he has been actively involved in almond and vineyard production in the Central Valley. John and his staff have decades of experience negotiating grape contracts and coordinating winery harvest schedules.
Justin Diener
Controller
Justin is the eldest son of John Diener. He was born in Visalia in 1981 and was raised on the farm in Five Points, California. During the summers of junior high and high school, Justin spent his time driving tractors, irrigating and spraying weeds. He attended Stanford University and graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in Economics. Following college, he spent 11 years in banking. Working for JPMorgan, Wells Fargo and Bank of the West, he specialized in agricultural finance I managed upwards of 20-30 commercial and production agriculture relationships, eventually earning the title of Vice President. In 2016, Justin returned to assist with his family’s farming operations at Red Rock Ranch, Inc. In the office, he manages crop budgets, contracts, financing, receipts and disbursements.
